ALMAVERA was born in Madrigal de la Vera, in the heart of the La Vera region and at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos mountains, as a project to restore and transform charming houses into boutique apartments, where traditional architecture and contemporary design coexist in balance with calm and nature.

Casa Pura Vida , made up of three independent apartments, is the brightest and most welcoming expression of this philosophy. Completely renovated in 2025 and opened in March 2026, the house respects its original essence and incorporates modern and sustainable materials perfectly integrated into the environment, creating spaces full of natural light and designed for relaxation.

The Petirrojo 2 Duplex , accommodating up to 6 people, offers 60 m² spread over two levels, providing spaciousness and character. It is fully furnished and equipped, and every corner has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and authentic stay.

Located on the first floor, it is accessed by a flight of stairs and, once inside, a second floor leads to the upper level of the duplex, where there is a second living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom and access to its spectacular private terrace.

The terrace is undoubtedly one of its greatest treasures : breathtaking views of the Sierra de Gredos mountains, the Tiétar Valley, and Madrigal de la Vera, where the horizon seems to merge with the land. A privileged spot to enjoy breakfast in the sun, watch the sunsets, or simply surrender to the tranquility of the landscape.

The space

• Master bedroom with double bed, large wardrobe and bedding included, designed for rest.

• Two separate lounges with two spacious and comfortable 140x180 cm sofa beds, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

• Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, refrigerator, toaster, washing machine and complete kitchenware.

• Two elegant and contemporary bathrooms, with marble effect finishes, modern shower, towels, hair dryer, shampoo and gel.

• Extras included: additional bedding for sofa beds, blankets and basic cleaning supplies.

In addition, you'll find small welcome touches like coffee, tea and herbal infusions to make you feel at home from the very first moment.

Outside, Madrigal de la Vera and the Sierra de Gredos offer a privileged environment: gorges with crystal-clear waters such as the Alardos gorge, trails and routes for cycling or horse riding, authentic gastronomy and an exceptional microclimate throughout the year.

Minimum booking time: 2 nights in low and mid season, 4 in high season and 5 nights in very high season.

We don't have an elevator (houses with history have their own character 😉), but we promise the few steps are well worth it. In La Vera, life moves at a more natural pace… even when climbing stairs or the hills of its streets!
