ALMAVERA was born in Madrigal de la Vera, in the heart of the La Vera region and at the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos. It is a project created with passion and respect for its surroundings, restoring charming traditional houses and transforming them into spaces where you can truly feel at ease.
Today, we offer two newly restored houses: Casa Pura Vida and Casa Pura Calma, each with three apartments designed to provide comfort, natural light, and genuine rest. Every detail has been carefully considered, allowing traditional architecture to blend seamlessly with warm, contemporary design.

Casa Pura Vida, made up of three independent apartments, is the brightest and most welcoming expression of the Almavera philosophy. Fully renovated in 2025 and opened in March 2026, the house preserves its original character while incorporating modern, sustainable materials seamlessly integrated into the surroundings, creating light-filled spaces designed for rest.
The house features three apartments: Petirrojo 0, Petirrojo 1, and Petirrojo 2. The latter, a duplex, also offers a private terrace with stunning views of the Sierra de Gredos and the Tiétar Valley — a privileged spot to enjoy sunrise or a peaceful afternoon.
Located in the upper part of Madrigal de la Vera, it blends naturally into one of the village’s most authentic neighborhoods, where life unfolds with calm and tradition. Natural light filters through its windows, filling every space with brightness and creating a true sense of comfort and well-being.

Casa Pura Calma
Casa Pura Calma is made up of three independent apartments and represents the more serene side of Almavera. Renovated and opened in 2025, the house combines the traditional character of local Verata architecture with a contemporary, functional, and welcoming interior designed for comfortable rest.
Each of its three apartments has been thoughtfully created to offer balance and a peaceful atmosphere where everything encourages relaxation. Well-distributed spaces, warm materials, and soft natural light throughout the day create an intimate and comfortable setting.
Located in the upper part of Madrigal de la Vera, in one of the village’s most authentic and quiet neighborhoods, this is a place where calm and unhurried living can truly be felt. It’s ideal for disconnecting from the noise, enjoying a friendly chat with the neighbors, and embracing the simplicity of the surroundings.
